Prices are quoted inclusive of Irish VAT. We reserve the right to change our prices and pass on increases should they be incurred.

Payment should be made at the time of ordering by switch, delta or credit card (other than Amex or Diners).

Missing wine or cases damaged in transit must be reported to us within 3 days of receipt of advice of despatch. If you are expecting a delivery and have not received it within 3 working days, please notify us. Cases should be opened and examined on arrival. If this is not possible, the carrier's sheet must be signed "unexamined'.

Cancellation of an order is possible in part or in full, for up to 14 days after the delivery is made. We will then arrange collection of the wine and reimbursement of the appropriate sum.

Substitute wines may be used to complete an order if a particular wine is out of stock. In these instances, a member of our staff will endeavour to contact you to explain the situation and, where appropriate, to discuss the possible alternatives. In the absence of instructions to the contrary, an appropriate substitute may be used to complete an order, providing that we are confident it is fully the peer of, and as good value as, the unavailable item.

Data Protection law governs the retention and use of personal customer information by The Parting Glass. Any such data is held in compliance with the regulations and we will not pass information to others to allow them to market to you.

No Quibble Guarantee. If you don’t like any wine that you buy from us, for whatever reason, you may return any un-opened bottles within a month of purchase and we shall refund your money without question or delay. This applies to Irish customers only and to overseas customers’ orders delivered to an Irish port. This Guarantee applies to en primeur sales in the sense that customers have the right to change their mind within fourteen days of their order being accepted.

Condition of Wine. Provenance of the wine we sell is of fundamental importance to us. Therefore, we only buy direct from the domaine or from trusted sources - e.g. wine that has laid in bond since shipment. As a result, condition issues rarely occur. In the event that wines are deemed to be corked or out of condition for consumption, please contact us immediately so that we can discuss the matter and, if necessary, repatriate any bottles for analysis. Please note that replacement of (or credits for) bottles will be made entirely at The Parting Glass's discretion. In respect of archive wines, these can age and mature in different ways regardless of reputation and they may not be to all tastes. We will not bear any liability for subjective judgments such as quality or drinkability and all older bottles are therefore sold as seen and we cannot accept returns for these.

Promotional Vouchers and Discount Codes. Vouchers and discount codes can only be used online and as stated in the offer. No cash alternative is offered. Promotional vouchers can not be used to buy Yapp Brothers gift vouchers. The voucher is not transferable.
